Rental Quality Control Technician jobs in Palmdale, CA

The Quality Control Tech primary focus is to ensure that all regulations & protocols are enforced by reviewing the product & production procedures in place to help ensure the food quality meets company standards.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

• ·         Serves as the primary contact between the production staff and the quality department for all Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory issues.
• ·         Performs analytical product quality inspection of fresh and frozen seafood, ensuring products and procedures meet company standards.
• ·         Performs product sensory evaluations.
• ·         Conducts temperature checks, count and defect checks, monitor. Conducts thorough quality inspections on incoming seafood products, in-process production, and finished goods.
• ·         Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency to QC Leadership.
• ·         Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
• ·         Enforce good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)
• ·         Promotes food safety and quality program within the plant environment.
• ·         Monitor and address quality concerns.

Required Skills/Abilities

• ·         1 years, experience in inspection and production
• ·         1 years, experience in food manufacturing; seafood or meat processing a plus
• ·         Excellent verbal and written skills
• ·         Excellent customer service skills
• ·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

We have three shifts that need to be filled. Which are as follows; 8:00am-4:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, and 8:00pm-4:30am. 

Other Requirement

• ·         Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds.
• ·         Work up to 10-hour workday: standing/walking most of the day.
• ·         Had use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• ·         Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• ·         Exposure to temperatures: < 32 degrees Fahrenheit
• ·         Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
• ·         Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives.
