Purpose of the Position
Responsible for examining materials for quality and defects. Ensures that people, equipment, and materials are used properly to maximize company expectations to product quality.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Analyze data collected during quality inspections to identify any deviations or non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve any quality issues or concerns.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and procedures.
- Fabricate and maintain testing fixtures and equipment.
- Document and maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken.
Qualification Requirements
- Previous experience in quality inspection or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data accurately.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
