Rental Quality Control Technician monitors overall quality of machines, and component repairs performed by the Service Department. Maintains records of results and prepares reports. Being a Rental Quality Control Technician requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Rental Quality Control Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring product quality is maintained or improved through testing, inspecting, and documenting our procedures and products. Work with the engineering team to recommend and implement new quality procedures and practices.
Responsibilities:
Documentation and management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs),Documentation and management of returns and warranty replacements.
Conducting inspections and documenting results. Including but not limited to:
Final inspection of product, Receiving inspection, JIG inspection, First Article inspection, Process Audits, Vendor Audits, Analyze processes and procedures for improved quality, Support 5S implementation in shop workstations, Manage MRB area and red tagged items
