    The Quality Control Technician leads overall Quality Control of all incoming new equipment, from proper specifications to final product quality as it leaves the IMPACT Center. This position works with the set-up of new equipment and the reconditioning/Inspection of all equipment.

    You’ll focus on:

    • Measure outgoing product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
    • Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
    • Perform inspection on incoming goods and materials.
    • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports.
    • Determining the cause of product defects and developing recommendations for rework plans.
    • Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product quality.
    • Work together with cross-functional teams to improve processes that will prevent future occurrences of non-conformances.
    • Monitor use of equipment to ensure it is safe and meets all requirements for the intended use.
    • Verify that all necessary equipment is calibrated correctly.
    • Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and established IS, Integrated Soluntion products.
    • Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
    • Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
    • Accounts for all time and all material used in performing assigned duties.
    • May perform diagnosis and repair in the field.
    • Must be able to work regular Service Department hours and maintain reliable attendance.
    • Provide timely completion of all repair orders, reports, and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
    • Lead the loading and unloading of inventory moving in and out of the facility along with the Service Manager
    • **This position will be 50% Quality Control and 50% Diesel Technician**

    What we are looking for:

    • Associate's degree and 5 years of experience performing service repairs.
    • Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures on machines of the Technician’s specialty.
    • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
    • Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
    • Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
    • Advanced Diesel Service Technician education preferred.
    • Must be able to retain positive relationships with co-workers.
    • A valid driver’s license is required.
