Event Rental Coordinator
Overstreet Hardware and Rental is a locally owned and operated hardware store, also specializing in event and equipment rentals. The hardware store was established in 1980, and the rental operation started nearly 20 years ago. OHR is a tight knit team of store employees, rental employees, and warehouse personnel. The event rental department specifically has a few team members who work together to make our client’s dreams come true with each and every event, from backyard get-togethers and birthday parties to weddings and corporate dinners.
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus, and be willing and able to multitask and “coordinate” efficiently and effectively. The responsibilities of the position can be loosely sorted into four basic categories: Clients Relationships, Vendor Relationships, Administrative Duties, and Daily Operations.
Clients
Building and maintaining client relationships
Contract building and review
Taking payments and liaising signatures
Vendors
Building and maintaining vendor relationships
Attending bridal tastings, expos, and trade shows
Reaching out to vendors/planners for logistics coordination
Administrative Duties
Daily Inbound and Outbound communication via phone, email,
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Drive
Social media management
Daily Operations
Reservations (Preparing Orders)
Pulling dish orders
Ordering and managing linens from vendors
Helping clients load orders into vehicles
Reservations (Processing Returns)
Washing and processing returned dishes
Washing and laundering in house linens
Helping clients unload orders from vehicles

Schedule:
We are open M-F 9A-6P, and Saturday 9A-5P, CLOSED SUNDAY, however there are 6-8 Sundays per year that will be required for bridal shows and off-site events.
Pay Range:
Pay is based on experience. Range $31,200 - $44,460
