Responsibilities
A positive customer experience through the timely processing of rental & sales business.
Coordinate necessary paperwork to get rental and sales orders in motion
Secure credit approval
Coordinate rental & sale prep activity with the appropriate service and yard personnel
Arrange transport if necessary
Set up reservations, agreements and shipping / receiving documents as needed in DBS / IRS.
Growth of the rental business and facilitation of sales (new, used and rental equipment).
Professionally quote rental rates and close business to maximize utilization and revenue
Provide rental customers with professional recommendations on equipment options as well as pricing and availability to meet the customers rental needs
Utilize phone logs to catalog and track rental activities and customer information
Process sales and rental orders in a timely manner
Coordinate all necessary rental and sales paperwork to ensure effective interdepartmental operations
Maximized availability and expedited sales operations through the coordination of rental and sales machine readiness.
Ensure rental fleet machines are rent ready and noted accordingly in DBS / IRS
Ensure DBS / IRS accurately reflects the work tools associated with machines to be rented or sold
Make full use of the features and reporting capabilities of our inventory control systems to contribute to effective asset management
Perform periodic yard walks / inventories of assigned branches
Customer satisfaction through the coordination of accurate billing.
Work closely with accounting and corporate sales administration to ensure accurate billing and record keeping for all sales & rental transactions
Manage shipping and receiving process for all rental and sales machines and attachments, to maintain inventory and billing accuracy
Work with sales reps and service department to communicate / present rental machine damage or neglect charges
Ensure that all transactions are handled in accordance with current cash account, credit department and accounting department policies
Qualifications
