Religious Educator conducts religious education courses. Responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, and leading and moderating discussion. Being a Religious Educator may work from religious texts or standardized course templates. Evaluates and monitors student's performance, and helps students identify and pursue personal goals. Additionally, Religious Educator assesses and documents students' progress. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an associate pastor or pastor. The Religious Educator work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Religious Educator typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     • Evidence of substantial formal training in human anatomy

    Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants with one or more of the following additional attributes:
    • Experience in teaching clinically-integrated anatomy or other anatomical sciences (embryology, gross anatomy, histology, neuroanatomy)
    • Formal training or experience in educational theory, instructional design, and/or evaluation and assessment
    • A track record of scholarship related to biomedical or educational sciences
    • Experience with computer, virtual, or simulation-based instruction
    Physician candidates applying must be Board Certified (ABMS recognized), must qualify for an unrestricted Alabama Medical License, and must agree to obtain an unrestricted Alabama Medical License within 2 years of employment.
