Job Summary
St. Joseph Parish in Cottleville is seeking a full-time CRE for its Parish School of Religion and Sacramental Program. This position requires a person of mature faith, committed to sharing this faith in Jesus Christ through the catechetical mission of the Catholic Church. The following leadership abilities are necessary: to call forth the gifts of others for ministry, to assess catechetical needs, to set attainable goals, to organize people and resources, to supervise and train catechists and evaluate results. St. Louis Archdiocesan certification is required for this position. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Otherwise, six additional credits in theology, as well as six additional credits in religious education or general education methods for teaching and learning are required.
