We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our team!
Kid’s Club is an eight week summer program offered to children ages 3.5-5 daily. Kids Club is designed to provide an authentic learning experience that encourages social emotional development, gross motor skills, and language acquisition through guided play-based activities. Kids Club mirrors a typical school day by including circle time, assigning jobs and responsibilities, calendar work, weather, following a daily schedule.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare lesson plans
· Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment of respect and rapport
· Prepare for “Morning meetings”
· Incorporate educator’s subjects of interest/talents, ie: cooking, sports, gardening, sewing, etc.
· Organize and prepare materials for daily instruction
· Daily setup and breakdown of classroom and materials
· Implement lesson plans
· Attend meeting and trainings
· Use effective instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
Hours:
· Monday - Friday
· 8:00-1:30
