Location: Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina
Type of Job: Part-time Position
Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Sunday 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Duties:
The CDRE should:- Ensure that the CRP’s Catholic educational programs are informative, engaging and incorporate Catholic religious education and formation to foster students’ spiritual growth.
- Design curriculum and assessment, volunteer training and evaluation, student progress, resource management, and attend meetings/events necessary to support the Catholic Religious Education Program and the missions and responsibilities of the CRP.
- Instruct youth participants on Catholic sacrament preparations and supervise and conduct youth group workshops and spiritual formation.
- Minimum of two (2) years prior experience as a Catholic Religious Educator
- Possession of an active suitability and fitness determination (Public Trust) from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of Catholic doctrine and commitment to spiritual development and moral guidance
