JOB DESCRIPTION
Position:Workforce Activities Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Workforce Activities Coordinator will work with college workforce staff and industry representatives to develop outreach and promotional strategies and events that increase awareness and enrollment in credit and non-credit career and technical programs. Activities include facilitating college-based outreach events for the public and for regional employers, development of outreach materials and social media postings, and maintaining a project webpage. Assistance at participant orientations may be required. The position reports jointly to the Executive Director of the Career Accelerator and the Dean of Career and Technical Education. This position is 100% grant funded and will require some evening and/or weekend work as needed.

Required Education and Experience:
· Associate degree in an industrial, technical, or related field

· Bachelor’s degree in an industrial field or related field
· 3 years’ experience in an industrial setting
Physical Requirements:
· Sit for extended periods of time
· Stand for extended periods of time
· Lift at least 10 pounds
