    Role Description: Engineering Manager with EE focus

    This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineering Manager at ANEUVO in Westwood, CA. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, overseeing software development projects, managing integration, and overseeing project management tasks. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch. This is a unique opportunity to work with products and technology that have a direct and immediate impact on improving human life. An ideal candidate has excellent social skills, demonstrates technical aptitude, and often exceeds expectations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manages biomedical, electrical, firmware, or software engineers in the development of new products, features, and interfaces
    • Coordinates the technical implementation of product changes, fixes, and improvements through task assignments, strategic timelines, and efficient processes
    • Oversees and enforces thorough review and testing procedures
    • Drafts and approves documentation for specifications, drawings, materials, architectures, test procedures, test reports, etc.
    • Oversees project logistics and resource allocation
    • Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste
    • Maintains high level expertise in the field of neuromodulation, neuroprostheses, and neuroengineering
    • Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies
    • Defines electrical specifications of the system
    • System/circuit design and implementation
    • Holds design reviews to show design meets target
    • Defines, supports and/or executes bench top test plans
    • Takes and support lab measurements to verify design and troubleshoot issues
    • Develops engineering documentation and device/system verification
    • Collaborates with quality, clinical and regulatory team members to ensure compliant processes
    • Conducts responsibilities in a professional manner with the highest ethical and social conduct in all interactions
    • Forges and maintains relationships with suppliers and customers
    • Advocates on behalf of team members by securing adequate resources for success

    • M.S or PhD degree in engineering
    • Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills
    • Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in the field of electronics, electrical, software, or firmware, mechanical, neural engineering
    • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience
    • Experience in medical device, neurostimulation or neuromodulation field
    • Master's degree in engineering or MBA is a plus
    • Outcome-driven
    • Experience with ISO 13485 and FDA regulation
    • Knowledge in IEC 60601 Standard
    • Knowledge in embedded system engineering
    • Hands-on experience with Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and PCB design, tapeout, verification and validation
    • Hands-on experience with lab measurement and soldering
    • Outstanding ability and knowledge in the field of EE
    • Skilled in Altium, Cadence, Synopsis, Mentor Graphics,
