Primary Responsibilities:
* Work in a highly autonomous and collaborative environment.
* Coordinate the scheduling and communication of all planned releases across the organization, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
* Account for and track all components within a release using the designated management tools to maintain comprehensive oversight.
* Guarantee the complete deployment of builds to the correct environments, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
* Monitor key release metrics to verify adherence to established release procedures, aiming for continuous improvement.
* Conduct release readiness reviews prior to deployment and milestone assessments post-release to evaluate success and areas for enhancement.
* Maintain detailed documentation of releases and dependencies, fostering organic collaboration and transparency across teams.
* Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to rapidly address and resolve any issues identified during or after releases.
* Partner with the release coordination group to standardize and streamline release practices across teams, minimizing complexity and enhancing efficiency.
* Engage in regular discussions with stakeholders from Product, Program, Engineering, and Quality departments to ensure release strategies are fully integrated and supported across the organization.
Desire Skills:
* Experience in a release management, program/project management, development operations, or software quality role.
* Experience with continuous deployment.
* Experience with mobile application releases.
* Experience with embedded firmware releases.
* Experience with Atlassian project management tools or similar.
* Familiarity working with source control and various source branching strategies.
* Passion for improving quality and efficiency through effective processes.
* Experienced with agile development methodologies.
* Ability to make decisions and perform risk analysis, problem solving skills.
* Well organized, creative, and detail-oriented, a self-starter who can identify problems, taking initiative to propose solutions, and successfully executing plans.
* High level of communication skills. Ability to exchange ideas about complex subjects efficiently.
