This job is responsible for optimizing the flow of epics, features, and the value delivered by several Agile Release Train features. Key responsibilities include facilitating Solution Train ceremonies, managing dependencies, reporting the health of epic and feature delivery and overall program increment, and promoting agile principles and mindsets. Job expectations include resolving impediments to delivery, protecting the Trains from disruptions, driving continuous improvement, and managing the Solution Train budget, resources, and communication between business and technology leaders.
Responsibilities: -Partners with the Release Train Engineers to coordinate the complex dependencies, including suppliers, and integration fall epics and features across Agile Release Trains required -Provides status updates regarding Agile Release Train plans, delivery, timelines, and impediments to stakeholders and leadership while communicating within the Agile Release Train to support delivery against program commitments -Manages risk, including dependency management, execution risk, impediment removal, and compliance with Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements -Manages the budget and resource planning for the Solution Train including incremental planning for multiple Agile Release Trains Consults with product management team and other stakeholders to ensure execution is aligned with product strategy -Measures Solution Train delivery, maturity, and performance and review metrics with the Solution Train to drive high performance through identification of improvement opportunities -Mentors and trains Release Train Engineers in execution of Release Train Engineer responsibilities
