    Join our client in Carmel, IN, as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) playing a pivotal role in steering the Agile Release Train (ART) towards success. Resolve impediments, manage risks, ensure value delivery, and facilitate continuous improvement. We welcome non-local candidates but prefer local applicants. Local candidates must be able to come into the office based on team agreements.

    Responsibilities:

    Facilitate coordinated ART release planning, ensuring effective communication and alignment with team agreements.

    Maintain transparency with clients and teams, managing backlog, ALM tool data integrity, and facilitating improvement of periodic ART reviews.

    Drive ART retrospectives quarterly or as needed, contributing to the RTE Community of Practice for enhanced coordination and collaboration.

    Coordinate major feature releases, ensuring ongoing value delivery involving multiple teams or ARTs.

    Fill gaps on the RTC (Release Train Calendar) and for the train.

    General Requirements:

    Work under general direction, using discretion in identifying and responding to complex issues.

    Interact with and influence colleagues, maintaining working-level contact with clients, suppliers, and partners.

    Perform a range of work, sometimes complex and non-routine, in various environments, applying a methodical approach to issue definition and resolution.

    Demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to issue resolution, taking initiative in identifying and negotiating personal development opportunities.

    Exhibit effective communication skills, contributing fully to team efforts.

    Plan, schedule, and monitor work competently within limited deadlines and according to relevant legislation, standards, and procedures.

    Appreciate the wider business context and understand how own role relates to other roles and the business of the employer or client.

    Qualifications:

    Essential: Agile mindset, servant leadership, technical aptitude, experience in Lean and Agile environments.

    Desirable: Advanced degree, Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, or PMI-ACP), PMP, SAFe Agilist.
