Relationship Manager - Sales manages personal banking staff and daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and develop client relationships. Focuses teams on identifying customer needs and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all bank products and services to explain, promote, and cross-sell products and services. Being a Relationship Manager - Sales ensures efficient processing of basic branch service transactions and accurate referrals to enable customers to access the right resource to facilitate other banking requests easily. Develops processes that enable staff to provide rapid research and solutions to account issues, answers to customer inquiries, and effective education and training on banking self-service technology. Additionally, Relationship Manager - Sales requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Relationship Manager - Sales supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. The Relationship Manager is responsible for the maintenance, cultivation and retention of an established client portfolio. The Commercial Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and cultivating new client portfolio relationships to meet all ongoing established portfolio growth goals. The Relationship Manager should have significant expertise and experience with all complex credit skills and have a high level and detailed understanding of all banking credit, deposit and treasury products.
Professional / Educational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and minimum 7-10 year’s relevant banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The hiring pay range for this position is $91,045 to $157,227. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
