Reinsurance Specialist performs routine reinsurance administrative duties, such as maintaining records, processing and verifying new business. Organizes the preparation of monthly and annual reports and ensures reinsurance information has been recorded accurately. Being a Reinsurance Specialist performs reconciliation of premium billing statements and DAC tax calculations and maintenance of various reinsurance operations. Researches and resolves the more complex cases and provides guidance to others. Additionally, Reinsurance Specialist may review work performed by others and train new staff. Works towards industry designations (e.g., FLMI, ARA, ACS, etc.). Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Reinsurance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible to further the mission of camp through assisting in the development and delivery of camp craft and outdoor living skills that are safe, fun, and appropriate to campers’ ages and abilities ensuring the safety and wellbeing of campers following State Regulations, ACA Standards, Girl Scout Safety Activity Checkpoints, and GSOFCT Policies.
They are responsible for the supervision and care of campers during designated / specific activities and facilitating delivery of programs within a unit.
