Reinsurance Specialist performs routine reinsurance administrative duties, such as maintaining records, processing and verifying new business. Organizes the preparation of monthly and annual reports and ensures reinsurance information has been recorded accurately. Being a Reinsurance Specialist performs reconciliation of premium billing statements and DAC tax calculations and maintenance of various reinsurance operations. Researches and resolves the more complex cases and provides guidance to others. Additionally, Reinsurance Specialist may review work performed by others and train new staff. Works towards industry designations (e.g., FLMI, ARA, ACS, etc.). Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Reinsurance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Communications Specialist provides administrative support to the organization and is primarily responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of information between clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization with PCS staff by performing a variety of clerical and tasks including filing, scheduling, mail distribution, and call transfers. The Community Intake Specialist is often the first point of contact for PCS, and is also responsible for ensuring a welcoming, positive experience for all that call and enter the office(s).
