Reinsurance Director is responsible for the administration of reinsurance plans. Maintains plan records and ensures compliance with federal regulations. Being a Reinsurance Director communicates with customers and assists with plan design and distribution when necessary. Ensures timely accounting, reporting and auditing. Additionally, Reinsurance Director researches and analyzes reinsurance prices and specifications. Communicates with underwriting area to verify the proper reinsurance administration is put in place. Supports the investigation of proposed reinsurance opportunities, rate comparisons, and profitability analysis. May have responsibility for reinsurance customer service. Has attained industry designations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Reinsurance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Fallbrook Arts, Inc. (FAI) is an established and highly recognized national and international arts organization in San Diego County, California. Established in 1996, FAI includes Fallbrook School of the Arts, Fallbrook Art Center and Art in Public Places.
Fallbrook School of the Arts offers a wide variety of classes and workshops for youth and adults at all skill levels. Classes include ceramics, printmaking, drawing, painting, books arts, jewelry, warm glass and more. Fallbrook Arts Inc., a 501(c)(3) non profit organization is seeking a Director to manage the business operations of the Fallbrook School of the Arts.
The Director reports to the President of FAI and ultimately to the Board. The School Liaison and the President will conduct an annual performance evaluation.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
General
The Director is responsible for managing the Fallbrook School of the Arts by: Attending / participating in discussions at Board meetings; communicating with the Board and provide timely and accurate financial and other relevant data to enable the Board to make informed decisions and to advance business and artistic goals.
School Programming, Development and Management
Schedule and manage art classes and special events; develop new art classes and programs; prepare and/or review all contracts relating to workshops, classes, special events, and studio rentals; monitor posted classes for accuracy, registrations, student inquires, etc.
Fiscal Management
Develop and present an annual budget for Board approval; prepare payroll information for all FSA staff; work closely with bookkeeper and FAI Treasurer to ensure accounting accuracy; oversee collection of class registrations, art sales, fees, etc.
Fundraising
In collaboration with the Board, support FAI fundraising and donor development efforts; create, manage, and oversee annual FSA Art Sale(s) and special events.
Marketing / Social Media and Communications
Oversee marketing and communications programs to increase visibility; foster and maintain collaborative and productive community relationships; ensure consistent branding and messaging in all marketing and communications; monitor social media accounts and provide constructive interaction with users; develop social media (Facebook and Instagram / YouTube) content to engage users.
Staff Leadership and Management
Cultivate a positive work culture, including monitoring compliance with all workplace policies and procedures; recruit, hire, and create contracts for all instructors; recruit, hire, train and mentor all office staff; conduct office staff evaluations with performance updates and proposed salary increases as appropriate; work with Board members to ensure employee documentation is maintained and current.
Facilities Management:
Work with Board members to ensure all maintenance/repair items are completed; ensure all janitorial needs are being met; order and maintain supplies for office and janitorial tasks as well as lass and studio supplies and equipment.
Organizational Integrity
Conduct business at the highest standard of integrity to ensure all activities are legal and ethical.
