Reinsurance Director is responsible for the administration of reinsurance plans. Maintains plan records and ensures compliance with federal regulations. Being a Reinsurance Director communicates with customers and assists with plan design and distribution when necessary. Ensures timely accounting, reporting and auditing. Additionally, Reinsurance Director researches and analyzes reinsurance prices and specifications. Communicates with underwriting area to verify the proper reinsurance administration is put in place. Supports the investigation of proposed reinsurance opportunities, rate comparisons, and profitability analysis. May have responsibility for reinsurance customer service. Has attained industry designations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Reinsurance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Reinsurance Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. This continuum is designed to meet the complex needs of each individual and creates a continuum of services that are able to meet the needs of children, adults, and families through a continuum of services utilizing an integrated care model. We are dedicated to seeking new innovative solutions that help us provide needed services more efficiently while maintaining stable, sustainable growth.
Title: Director
Salary: Starting at $85000 / annually depending upon education, experience, and licensure.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and administrative oversight/supervision and management of the program and team including consultation on clinical activities, therapeutic and behavioral assistance supports and direct on-site intervention with youth and families as needed
- Provide daily clinical triage support
- Oversee the development of treatment / behavior / support / safety plans, as needed
- Review youth referrals and coordinate admissions
- Oversee all Quality Assurance/Program Improvement activities with a focus on attaining bench-mark activities for all team members
- Establish community linkages and serve as the liaison to community partners
- Identify and coordinate training and support needs of the community
- Identify and coordinate internal trainings utilizing the expertise of the clinical team and specialists within the community
- Maintain communication with system partner leaders
- Ensure the collection of required data and documentation on youth access and utilization of services
- Supervise the medical team, Assistant Program Director, and Administrative Assistant
- Provide support as needed to the clinical team 24/7/365
- Manage program evaluation activities including but not limited to, gathering, reviewing, and utilizing youth and family feedback for continuous quality improvement
Qualifications
- NJ independent clinically Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor
- 4 years of supervisory experience in the behavioral healthcare field and working with youth with Mental Health needs including complex trauma
- Experience with the implementation and evaluation of evidence-based practices
Assertive Community Treatment Services for Youth (Youth ACT)
The program operates throughout Cape May and Atlantic County and delivers a multidisciplinary mobile team to provide intensive and immediate access to treatment services in the community. The program works with youth ages 5-20 who present with significant mental health needs, challenging behaviors, and/or are at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or out of home care.
