Being a Reinsurance Clerk verifies the policies of reinsurance clients and reviews company records to determine correct coverage. May coordinate the exchange of underwriting information between the reinsurance market and the underwriting staff. Additionally, Reinsurance Clerk may process monthly premium billing statements and other reports. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Reinsurance Claims & Operations Specialist will ensure all operational aspects of assumed reinsurance business are completed in a timely manner, reinsurance data is acquired in line with all business requirements, and any operational risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated. This position is responsible for providing claim handling, strong relationship building, and project leadership in external client management while providing Claim products and services. The position will support internal customers (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting, etc.) as well as external partners, primarily the ceding companies and their representatives as well as Waypoint.

Handles and oversees Assumed Accounts involving claim and account level issues.
Aids in the operational support and infrastructure of all aspects of Assumed Reinsurance Operations.

COMPENSATION
The salary range listed for this position, $86,247.55 to $145,450.54, is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education. In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package outlined below.
