Hill Valley is looking for a dynamic regional director of clinical reimbursment to oversee and manage 7 skilled nursing facilities in Washington state and Las Vegas Nevada. I want a regional team member who loves to teach and train other MDS nurses. We want a strong MDS nurse who is willing to assist facilities in a bind as well as mentor new MDS Nurses and build their skills. I am looking for a leader and a strong member of a regional team.
This position will work with facilities in their area who need assistance in completing MDS assessments and careplans to maintain compliance with federal and state guidelines. This is a hybrid position with a combination of remote and in facility work required. Overnight travel will be necessary at times.
This position provides extensive training, analysis and advice to new MDS nurses, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and Company policies regarding MDS patient assessment process, state case mix and Medicare prospective payment systems.
This position will report to the Vice President of Clinical Reimbursement in supporting centers in need and will also have a partner MDS traveler assigned to support the region in covering MDS staff openings.
A current nursing license to practice in the state or a compact license is required. A working knowledge of MDS and Medicare regulations required. A PASSION for MDS is also required and the desire to build a team of mds nurse professionals.
