Reimbursement Specialist - Healthcare determines the extent to which patients' insurance covers their treatments. Reviews appropriateness of CPT-4/ICD-10 coding and determines if care provided corresponds to the charges submitted. Being a Reimbursement Specialist - Healthcare ensures compliance with Federal and State regulations and company policies that govern Medicare and state payment systems. May assist in identifying fraudulent non-plan billing practices and assists the legal department with litigation preparation. Additionally, Reimbursement Specialist - Healthcare may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Typically requires Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from AAPC or AHIMA. The Reimbursement Specialist - Healthcare gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Position Summary Details:

    Essential Functions:
    • Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
    • Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
    • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
    • Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

    Responsibilities:
    • Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
    • Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.
    • Gathers and empties trash.
    • Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
    • Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.
    • Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order.
    • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Must be able to pass a 7 year background check and drug screen including marijuana.
