**Overview:** We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Staff Supervisor.

Job Summary:
The Home Care Staff Supervisor oversees and manages a team of home care staff who provide essential services to clients in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role involves hiring, supervising, training, and supporting home care staff to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to clients. The supervisor coordinates schedules, conducts performance evaluations, and addresses any concerns or issues that may arise within the team. Additionally, they may collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of home care staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve staff performance and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans for clients in collaboration with other healthcare professionals and family members.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing home care services.
• Monitor client progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Coordinate with clients, family members, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments, care plans, and service delivery.
• Provide ongoing support and training to home care staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in delivering quality care.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and facilitate collaboration among team members.
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in health science, health behavioral science, health and human services, nursing, social work, healthcare administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in home care or a similar healthcare setting, with a minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and communicate with clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing home care services.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients and their families.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for home visits).
• CPR and first aid certification (preferred).
• Ability to pass background checks and other screening requirements as mandated by regulatory agencies or employer policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
