Rehabilitation Services Manager plans and implements the overall rehabilitation functions policies, procedures, and services. Ensures efficient and effective operations for physical therapy, sports medicine, occupational therapy and speech departments. Being a Rehabilitation Services Manager identifies services through program planning and facilitates program development. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Manager typically reports to a director. The Rehabilitation Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Clients in the PSR program are in recovery from serious and persistent mental illness. All program activities are designed to provide clients with the skills necessary to recover from their illness and gain independence. PSR instructors are responsible for facilitating psychosocial educational groups and assisting with the daily functioning of PSR.
