Rehabilitation Services Manager jobs in New Hampshire
Rehabilitation Services Manager plans and implements the overall rehabilitation functions policies, procedures, and services. Ensures efficient and effective operations for physical therapy, sports medicine, occupational therapy and speech departments. Being a Rehabilitation Services Manager identifies services through program planning and facilitates program development. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Manager typically reports to a director. The Rehabilitation Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Rehabilitation Services Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Overview

- Assembles supplies, sets-up and adjusts equipment, and prepares treatment modalities, such as: baths, hot and cold packs, lamps, paraffin, crafts, whirlpool, bike, Nustep, etc.
- Observes patients for distress, and monitors basic vital signs. Assists therapists as needed.
- Escorts out-patients to treatment room and prepares for treatment.
- Maintains the environment including cleanliness, organization, and routine maintenance of machines.
- Assigns questionnaires.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- High school graduate or the equivalent required.
- Proven experience working with the public desired.
- Previous experience working in a medical setting preferred.
- Familiarity with computers desired.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
