Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home directs the programs and staff of the rehabilitation services department for a nursing home. Develops and implements rehabilitation programs by working with the operational leadership team and medical staff. Being a Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home sets and implements guidelines for rehabilitation programs such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Responsible for the direction, planning, and operation of the rehabilitation function. Additionally, Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home develops and implements policies and procedures regarding staffing and budget. May require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. May require a professional certification. The Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The attributes required of a Nursing Assistant Candidate is to provide care and concern for those who may be unable to physically or mentally care for themselves. They must possess patience, empathy and unwavering compassion for people. Practice and “hands-on” supervised training. After completion of the Nursing Assistant Class, you will be eligible for employment consideration to be hired as a Nursing Assistant, you must be able to provide legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the United States, employment references, and be at least 18 years of age.:

    The primary responsibility of a student that is selected for the NA Class is to acquire the knowledge, skills and certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA) by participation in the facility’s planned educational program. This program consists of classroom and clinical instructions. Upon completion of the NA program a student is prepared to take the state examination in order to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.:

    • Able to attend all class and clinical sessions
    • Be willing to undergo a criminal background.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
