Regulatory Affairs Specialist supports the oversight of regulatory matters and strategy implementation to ensure the organization complies with applicable regulations. Prepares filings and tracks applications for licensing, certification, and permits and interacts with governmental officials during the regulation and certification process. Being a Regulatory Affairs Specialist monitors compliance with existing regulations and upcoming or changing regulations. Performs impact analysis of regulatory changes and produces status reports. Additionally, Regulatory Affairs Specialist participates in processes to report, investigate, and addresses any issues of non-compliance. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Regulatory Affairs Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     PART-TIME - 24 hours per week


    Payroll Specialist will be primarily responsible for gathering and processing payroll weekly.  Other duties include working with different departments to increase payroll service performance and improve upon the payroll system.  You will work closely with payroll representatives to resolve issues with payroll tax notices or processing issues.


    Essential Functions:

    • Process payroll for employees in the organization
    • Report to direct supervisor regarding daily activities and issues
    • Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system
    • Work with company database programs to timely and accurately process payroll
    • Prepare and email reports to CFO and Controller to process funding requirements
    • Verifies timekeeping records and retains all supporting documentation
    • Reviews payroll before finalizing to ensure accuracy

    Requirements

    • Strong knowledge of payroll tax and wage laws
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office
    • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
    • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
    • Physically able to work seated in front of a computer for long hours at a time
    • At least 3 years experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment


    Preferred Skills, Competencies AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Experience with Paylocity payroll system a plus, but not required


    Education Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
