Regulatory Affairs Specialist supports the oversight of regulatory matters and strategy implementation to ensure the organization complies with applicable regulations. Prepares filings and tracks applications for licensing, certification, and permits and interacts with governmental officials during the regulation and certification process. Being a Regulatory Affairs Specialist monitors compliance with existing regulations and upcoming or changing regulations. Performs impact analysis of regulatory changes and produces status reports. Additionally, Regulatory Affairs Specialist participates in processes to report, investigate, and addresses any issues of non-compliance. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Regulatory Affairs Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     As Project and Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for:

    Regulatory Affairs :

    Maintain global monitoring of North American environmental regulations applicable to Prevost
    Provide support to all areas of the business in regulatory compliance
    Communicate interpretations and guidance on regulatory requirements and standards
    Maintain the list of legal requirements and compliance schedule
    Support the product planning group to ensure alignment of compliance elements with the product plan
    Participate in product design reviews
    Maintain documentation of regulatory compliance processes
    Create a close collaboration with the Volvo Truck regulatory group to maintain collective knowledge of North American regulations up to date
    Participate in the strategic planning process
    Participate in Prevost and Volvo governance for regulatory affairs
    Work in collaboration with technical publications in the event of recalls
    Manage the annual reporting process (EPA, CARB, etc.)
    Maintain the environmental credit calculation table

    Project Manager :

    Responsible for deliverables of assigned projects according to project specifications and expectations
    Develops specifications for assigned projects to validate objectives, context, risks, budgets and schedule of deliverables
    Ensures compliance with the monthly planning of its projects, taking into account budgets and deadlines
    Responsible for legislation intel follow-up
    Ensures compliance with specifications, procedures, standards and methods in force and the organization's quality standards
