We're currently offering an exciting position for a Manager, State Regulatory Affairs. In this role, you'll act as the primary liaison and support for state regulatory initiatives at NARUC and regional organizations. This position involves approximately 35% travel.
As a pivotal member of the EEI team, you will be responsible for:
Serving as a primary EEI point of contact with NARUC staff subcommittees, interacting with regulatory staff, and actively participating in staff subcommittee meetings as relevant.
Advocating for industry positions on proposed resolutions, effectively communicating with state commissioners and staff, and working to secure industry speakers for panels.
Acting as an additional EEI liaison with staff subcommittee members and other Commission staff as needed.
Providing support for various activities, including managing logistics and budgets, drafting agendas, identifying panel topics, and securing industry speakers.
Representing EEI and the electric company industry at NARUC annual and regional meetings.
Engaging in strategic discussions with allies and stakeholders on key regulatory and state legislative issues.
The salary range for this role begins at $80,000. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is typically up to 10% of base salary. Office Protocol
This is a hybrid position which requires the incumbent to reside in the District of Columbia metropolitan area and come into the office a minimum of two days each week with one of the mandatory days being Wednesday.
