Registrar Assistant is responsible for the university/college's system of student records in one of the following areas: registration, graduation, or maintenance of student records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, communication, and analytical skills.
Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in using Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Salary Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources. Minimum Qualifications At a minimum, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, previous work experience in higher education or similar academic setting, excellent communication skills, strong critical thinking skills, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Qualifications An ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in higher education or a related field, experience with Banner, understanding of articulation agreements, knowledge of NCAA eligibility requirements and compliance regulations, supervisory experience in an academic setting, and previous work experience in the registrar’s office or similar department.
