JOB DESCRIPTION-

Registered Respiratory Technician

RRT

Full-Time

Registered Respiratory Technician candidates for the night shift will have the following job responsibilities:

• This position works in the respiratory therapy unit of a hospital and exercises considerable independent clinical judgment in applying scientific knowledge and theory to practical respiratory care problems in accordance with physicians' orders.
• The position is responsible for independently administering respiratory tests and treatment to patients with respiratory diseases and disorders including cases involving critically ill, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• The position will be required to work NIGHTS, but may also include weekends and holidays.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Respiratory Technician

Registered Respiratory Technician candidates for the night shift must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• Must have successfully completed an accredited respiratory therapy program with an AAS diploma
• Must have a minimum of BLS Certification from an American Heart Association approved course.
• Candidates with an ACLS certification from an American Heart Association approved course are preferred.
• Candidates with previous experience preferred.

$40-65/hour
