Being a Regional Support Manager provides operational support and resources to investigate and resolve any problems or losses incurred in the day to day operations of branches. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Regional Support Manager typically reports to top management. The Regional Support Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager Support to join our team. The Regional Sales Manager Support at Frazer reports to the VP of Business Development, and is responsible for assisting the Regional Sales Managers in growing sales and increasing company revenues.  Ensure customer needs (both internal and external) are met through active listening and a consultative approach to problem solving that results in profitable sales, accurate estimates, repeat purchases, and customer referrals.



    What Does a Week in the Life of the Regional Sales Manager Support Look Like?

    1. Assist Regional Sales Managers as they drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales and cash receipt. 
    2. Build customer relationships and promote Frazer solutions by responding to customer inquiries by phone, email, in person, or by mail providing technical specifications, pricing, quotes, and other information as needed.
    3. Coordinate in house resources to support unit sales and production.
    4. Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
    5. Assist with in person and remote customer specification review meetings to understand and address customer requirements.
    6. In support of the Regional Sales Managers, maintain contact with customers and prospects
    7. Accurately maintain information such as sales opportunities, interactions, estimates, order forecasts, customer orders, and more, in Frazer company computer systems.
    8. Accurately configure, price, and quote complex products, such as ambulances, stretchers, and other medical equipment. 
    9. Perform hands-on inspections on used units that customers bring in for re-mounting on a new truck chassis.
    10. Evaluate and respond to bids and formal requests for proposals to include periodic bid submissions of product offerings and prices to purchasing groups.
    11. Attend final inspection and in-service delivery walk-around with customers when their unit is ready for pickup. 
    12. Actively pursue productivity enhancements by recommending and/or implementing policy and process changes to improve effectiveness or efficiency.
    13. Actively live out Frazer Core Values while working with Frazer employees, vendors, and customers to help achieve team, department, and corporate goals. 
    14. Learn and reinforce safe and proper work procedures while actively following Frazer Safety programs and other policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
    15. Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.



    Required Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or GED 
    • Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record check
    • Reliable form of transportation and vehicle insurance 
    • Must be able to complete and pass all pre-employment screening

     

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • College degree preferred
    • Some sales office experience 
    • Experience selling to municipal governments
    • Fire/ EMS background 
    • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

    Of course, we didn't forget salary… Frazer offers competitive pay and this role will start with a salary between $70,000 to $80,000 annually depending on education, certifications, and experience.

     

    Work Schedule 

    The Regional Sales Manager Support will work Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM-4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM-11:00 AM. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
