Day to Day Duties
· Supervises Direct Support Professionals’ (DSPs) performance and evaluates annually.
· Completes/updates DSP schedules, works direct support hours as necessary to assure required staff coverage.
· Completes and updates General Events Reports, including completion of an environmental assessment and any additional required follow-up.
· Participates with internal investigations as requested.
· Obtains and retains certification: CPR/AED, First Aid and Therapeutic Intervention
· Participates in on-call rotation as scheduled.
· Program: Manages the day to day needs of the individuals on the assigned caseload to assure quality in overall service delivery.
· Serves as the primary contact person for family/guardians regarding concerns and the daily needs of the individuals. This would include all emergencies and general contact a minimum of monthly.
· Organizes regular household huddles to keep all staff up to date on changes and information.
· Provides in-home expertise and ongoing modeling for Direct Service Professionals regarding methods, strategies, and techniques relative to OSP implementation.
· Assists people to obtain and maintain eligibility for social economic benefits.
· Represents Encompass at monthly meetings as assigned
· Writes OPS – works with family to write accurate plans and meaningful goals/outcomes.

Position Requirements:
· Bachelors degree with ND Developmental Disabilities QDDP module certification preferred; a Masters degree or Bachelors degree without ND Developmental Disabilities QDDP module certification with experience in Developmental Disabilities will be considered
· A minimum of 5 years specific experience with agency services and programs is required
· A minimum of 3 years of senior level supervisory and management experience required
· Knowledge/expertise of Developmental Disabilities service system and Socioeconomic Systems required
