Regional Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Manages multiple districts within a region and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate for each district. Being a Regional Sales Manager designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. Additionally, Regional Sales Manager collects relevant competitors' market information to increase sales volume and market share. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Regional Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Regional Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in your assigned region. This is a remote position with frequent travel required.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets
- Manage and grow key accounts within the region
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business risks and opportunities
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for management reviewQualifications
- Proven track record of success in technical sales or account management
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Experience in technology sales is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and close deals
- Excellent business development and market analysis skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
