Regional Retail Loss Prevention Manager manages a team of loss prevention staff that monitors premises to reduce losses due to theft and fraud. Responsible for safeguarding company assets in a defined geographic region. Being a Regional Retail Loss Prevention Manager uses employee training and audits to prevent merchandise loss; investigates known losses and coordinates with police on theft prosecution. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Regional Retail Loss Prevention Manager typically reports to a director. The Regional Retail Loss Prevention Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Regional Retail Loss Prevention Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Position Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Standard computer / technology skills needed
- Customer Service skills
- Security or Loss Prevention experience preferred
- Professional verbal / written communication
- Report writing
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check
