Regional Retail Loss Prevention Manager jobs in Chattanooga, TN

Job Summary: The District Loss Prevention Manager will protect company assets through the execution of inventory recovery and internal and external theft reduction programs, as well as assist with the reduction of loss inventory, time, and assets. The District Loss Prevention Manager works with the Director of Loss Prevention/Security in the implantation and oversight of loss prevention initiatives, and always role model and demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Location: This position must reside or be willing to relocate to the greater Chattanooga area.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide a single point of contact to district and store management for all Loss Prevention related needs (training, investigations, Loss Prevention equipment needs and repairs, security officers and Loss Prevention Specialist).
• Conduct all internal and external Loss Prevention investigations for the assigned district.
• Oversee contract guard service and supervises Loss Prevention Specialists.
• Monitors surveillance equipment.
• Identify, observe, and apprehend shoplifters and others (internal or external) involved in acts of dishonesty.
• Analyze store security needs, deploy, and supervise resources (uniformed guard, Loss Prevention Specialist) and determine effectiveness.
• Implement and analyze the performance of all division and corporate Loss Prevention related programs and strategies.
• Maintain working relationships and represent the Company’s interest with local, state, and federal law enforcement.
• Serve as a liaison with district and division personnel to identify and develop solutions for shrink-related opportunities.
• Participate in new store and remodel construction process to ensure Loss Prevention related vendors install equipment according to Company standards.
• Prepare and distribute Loss Prevention alerts to district and store management teams.
• Testify in hearings and court actions, as needed.
• Conduct store consults.
• Test functionality of store Loss Prevention equipment during store visits.
• Conducts Loss Prevention training for store personnel and management.
• Partner with District Manager and District Staff to execute the Company’s business plan.
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
• Minimum five (5) years retail loss prevention experience.
• Operational knowledge of CCTV systems, as well as multi-store loss prevention experience.
• Must possess valid and unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals, daily.
• Ability to attend on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical week, as well as additional time to fulfill job duties, as needed.
• Must be available for 24/7 on-call status and be available to assist other Food City Divisions, as needed.
