Regional Retail Banking President jobs in Ohio

As a Finance Business Manager in Retail Banking you will help to drive key initiatives and optimize business performance. We act as trusted advisors to senior management and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. As a Business Manager you will be a proactive problem solver to help senior management achieve their goals. 

This is a time-pressured and high-profile position which is instrumental in assisting/advising senior management and in coordinating the deployment of the bank’s corporate resources to address strategic and tactical objectives.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Influence new business strategy, strategic initiatives or platforms, including aligning department and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance)
• Optimize 'bottom line' business performance by driving key initiatives 
• Alongside the Region Director,  drive business reviews, supporting, planning and coordinating relevant region and market KPIs and identifying trends for discussion within the assigned territory
• Analyze financial performance, including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation
• Identify, escalate and mitigate business risks that could impair our ability to do business: e.g. legal, tax, regulatory, capacity issues, extraordinary transaction costs
• Partner with other lines of business on work streams and initiatives
• Business representation in respective internal/external working groups

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
• 6 years of relevant experience in Finance and/or Banking
• Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
• Presents well to senior and global business heads
• Able to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions
• Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
• Able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail with logical thought process

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills: 

• Previous product knowledge and/or prior Business Management or COO experience preferred

Candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, Ohio office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week.  The specific schedule will be determined by direct management.  Travel will be required.
