    SUMMARY
    Serves in the Senior leadership capacity for Retail Banking management team. Provides tactical and operational leadership for the Retail Branch Network. Contributes to the overall growth objectives of the Bank
    through successful development and execution of branch sales and service programs. Oversees and monitors the operational integrity of the branch system.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Responsible for the overall performance of all branches. Performance is primarily driven by leading, coaching and managing Market Managers and their teams, monitoring overall group and individual branch effectiveness and progress toward key goals, and creating and sustaining thorough plans/strategies, to maintain or improve overall deposit results. Ultimately accountable for the contributions of team members and managers to Lakeside Bank’s success.
    • Identifies and develops new business opportunities to grow the Bank and meet revenue objectives. Conducts prospecting calls with Market Managers and business partners, to acquire new business relationships in the market.
    • Oversee branch activities for all branches. Will assist the Retail Branch teams in providing customers with assistance and service on a wide variety of banking matters. Lead team activities and initiatives to identify and acquire profitable new clients.
    • Develops and oversees a highly effective community relations program for the Branch Network. (Financial Literacy programs, etc.)
    • Establishes goals and measures sales, business partner referrals, and customer experience results for Branch Network.
    • Provide performance feedback to Market Managers and team on a regular basis. Lead with a focus on sales and service via one on one meetings with Market Managers.
    • Maintain continuous focus on growing sales knowledge, staying current with industry and market trends, improving processes, and enhancing the client experience. Display a sense of urgency and focus towards results delivery, growth, and retention.
    • Trains Market Managers to develop relationship building sales culture and exceptional customer experience for themselves and their team. Ensures appropriate sales training, coaching and tools are provided to support branch goals and strategic objectives.
    • Partners with Market Managers to determine personnel actions, reviews performance appraisals, makes salary recommendations and staffing selections, ensures training and coaching to develop and motivate a highly skilled team. Recommends education programs for ongoing management development. Integral part of sourcing and selection process for new hires.
    • Works closely with our Executive team and other functional managers on searching for and opening new branch locations.
    • Works closely with Retail Support to build and develop any new products and services. Researches products and provides support to project management for the implementation of new products and services as it relates to the Branch Network.
    • Recommends policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of customer service. Ensures branch policies are in regulatory compliance and conform to overall bank policies and objectives.
    • Continue to develop and monitor the automated sales/account tracking system (Branch Score Cards) to monitor sales performance and operational efficiencies. Manages CRM system and provides regular reports to Executive team.
    • Continue to develop and monitor the incentive-based sales program based on Branch achievement of sales performance.
    • Support company wide sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives; develop and execute sales strategies in local markets. Coordinate with Director of Marketing to develop product promotional materials, flyers and branch materials and promotions for branch sponsored events.
    • Monitor competitor activities and programs, and identify product, marketing and other opportunities to share with executive management.
    • Participates in formulating deposit pricing recommendations for approval by the Rate Committee. Serves as a participating member of the Rate Committee.
    • Build positive collaborative relationships with peers, business partners, and colleagues; successfully leverage internal network; design and implement strategies and tactics to ensure the group works effectively as a team and with other functional areas of the Bank.
    • Works closely with Finance on specific income/expense targets, asset/liability projections and performance management centered on those financial targets.
    • Consistently meets and/or exceeds established sales goals for the group on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
    JOB SPECIFICATIONS
    All duties and responsibilities must be performed in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines.
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Provides direction and training to Market Managers and their team.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Must be a proven sales leader with a record of success in staff development and talent management.
    • Extensive knowledge in Retail Banking and other functional operational areas of the Bank. (Lending experience is a plus.)
    • Proven excellence in client satisfaction and leading teams to success.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communicative skills in both individuals and groups. Excellent sales process management, communication, negotiation, and risk management skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to exercise informed judgement in complex situations.
    • Proven ability to work in a team environment and develop strong relationships with employees, clients, prospects, and business partners.
    • Ability to make sound decisions and use creativity in implementing strategic initiatives.
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor’s degree in a business related major or a minimum of seven years of experience in the financial industry required. Must have a solid understanding of industry and retail banking knowledge. Retail Lending experience a plus.
