A large California Healthcare organization is actively seeking a Regional Vice President to lead their Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
The Regional ASC Executive will report to the Chief Executive Officer, and will be supported by 4 Regional ASC Administrators, with oversight of 20 Ambulatory Surgery Centers. The Vice President Ambulatory Surgery Centers, will also be responsible for the growth and development of the service line as they are prepared to open 10 additional surgery centers.
The Healthcare Organization is expansive with Surgery Centers throughout the region, they own and operate a mix of facilities, some hospital owned and operated and some joint ventures.
The role of a Regional Director of Surgery Centers encompasses the comprehensive oversight of multiple surgical facilities within a designated region. This position involves a multifaceted approach to healthcare management, including the day-to-day operational coordination of surgery centers, implementation of strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives, and meticulous financial management to ensure fiscal health. The Regional Director is tasked with upholding regulatory compliance, staying abreast of healthcare laws, and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care and satisfaction. In addition to managing staffing, this role involves collaboration with diverse stakeholders, effective communication with healthcare providers, and integration of technology for operational efficiency. The Executive will primarily work remote, but will be required to visit Administrative meetings at least once a week, and periodically do site visits, or have in person meetings regarding perspective joint ventures.
