JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced operator and leader in the senior housing industry, or related, for a Regional Director of Operations position. This position will provide oversight and guidance for five Senior Housing communities (Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care) in the greater Phoenix area and West Des Moine, IA. Qualified candidates should have successful leadership experience in a similar environment for operations and fiscal success, be committed to our core values, and have a passion for the seniors that we serve.

POSITION DUTIES
- Oversee all operations and fiscal oversight for five communities in all aspects of resident care, admissions, staffing, marketing, programming, culinary services, facilities maintenance, and administration.
- Lead through vision and values for resident and team-member wellbeing, quality assurance, financial management and regulatory compliance with the highest integrity and ethical standards.
- Responsible for driving the region to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
- Responsible for understanding legal documents related to acquiring, developing and operating projects.
- Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external.
- Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the region.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.
- Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the executive team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management’s development.
- Lead by example, ensure outstanding attention to detail in resident care and wellbeing, demonstrate effective communication.
- Supervise multiple Executive Directors, oversee the operations at their communities to ensure high customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstration of our Core Values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect
- 7 years of strong operational experience working with the elderly in an assisted living, skilled nursing or hospital environment highly preferred.
- Be present in Arizona locations 70% of time and Iowa location as needed and approximately one time per every two months at minimum.

- Must have experience managing multiple retirement, assisted living, and/or memory care communities.
- Must be able to maintain composure during stressful and emergent situations.
- Must be approachable, fair-minded and communicate with clarity while showing confidence and enthusiasm.
- Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
- Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission and vision.
- Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Gerontology, Business or another related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the state regulations and compliance management
- Working knowledge of basic accounting terminology and processes with strong financial judgement.
