We are currently seeking a part-time Associate Regional Medical Director to join our team at our Regional Office in Topeka, Kansas.
This is a teleheath opportunity with occasional travel to Topeka, Norton and Ellsworth, Kansas.
The Associate Regional Medical Director is responsible for providing comprehensive medical direction in collaboration with the Regional Medical Director as well as for providing the clinical and utilization management direction needed to meet contract-specific service delivery requirements. The Associate Regional Medical Director mentors, clinically supervises, and evaluates the team-delivered medical services for the patients at all facilities of the contract and promotes the culture of quality medical care using an evidence-based standard of care. This professional serves as the contract’s clinical expert, provider resource, clinical and medical management leader, and clinical outcomes driver while representing correctional healthcare to the client and the contract’s providers.
• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required
• Active and unrestricted Kansas medical license or the ability to obtain
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• 1-2 years of leadership/directorship experience required
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
Weekday, day shifts. 24 hours per week.
