Regional Human Resources Manager jobs in Escondido, CA

Regional Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies, including staffing, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs for a region within an organization. Ensures existing programs in compliance with government regulations. Being a Regional Human Resources Manager may lead the work of Human Resources Business Partners. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Regional Human Resources Manager typically reports to a Director or top executive. The Regional Human Resources Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Regional Human Resources Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    Under general supervision of the Director, Human Resources, is responsible for new hire orientation; employee data entry; coordinating completion of performance reviews; conducting exit interviews, and general Human Resources administration.


    QUALIFICATIONS:


    EDUCATION

    High school graduate or equivalent.


    EXPERIENCE

    Four (4) years of related work experience. Experience in a Human Resources environment preferred. Experience must also include the use of spreadsheet and word processing software, as well as administrative duties.


    OTHER

    Ability to relate well with all levels of employees; communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Knowledge required of pertinent federal and state labor laws. Knowledge also required of workers compensation and State Disability Insurance. Knowledge of computerized word processing and automated Human Resources information management systems required.


    STARTING SALARY

    $25.04 to $27.54 an hour
