The Uptown Pubhouse Chef cooks our focused menu of high-quality pub faire, as if he or she were preparing each dish for their mother. With Reubens and fish-n-chips as our signature dishes, consistency, quality, and speed are paramount. Additionally, the Chef washes dishes, cleans all aspects of the kitchen, and receives food orders, as need be. Not only are back of the house skills paramount, but we are an open kitchen and customer service skills are key. At times, the Chef seats customers, clears tables, checks on orders, and runs food orders. Upon employment, Food Manager Training certification from the Coconino County Health Department is required. Uptown Pubhouse has been in operation for three decades now and its owners and manager have worked as consultants for other pubs. We are happy to train people who are new to the service industry.
