We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at our acclaimed Thai restaurant. As Chef de Cuisine, you will play a pivotal role in leading our culinary team to maintain the highest standards of excellence in Thai cuisine while also incorporating diverse Asian flavors. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring that all dishes meet our restaurant's standards for quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and management team to develop innovative and seasonal menus that highlight authentic Thai cuisine while also incorporating elements from other Asian cultures, such as Indian, Indonesian, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Korean.
• Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and professional growth.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and delegate tasks to a diverse team of culinary professionals.
• Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in the kitchen, even during busy service periods, and effectively handle high-pressure situations with confidence and assertiveness.
• Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with front-of-house staff, suppliers, and guests.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment, with a strong background in Thai cuisine.
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in Asian flavors, including Thai, Indian, Indonesian, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Korean cuisines.
• Experience working with strong personalities or big egos, with the ability to push back when necessary while maintaining professionalism and composure.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• A passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering memorable dining experiences to our guests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
