**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to join our team and provide clinical leadership for our home health and hospice agency. The Medical Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of clinical excellence within the organization.

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide medical oversight and direction for all clinical operations, including home health and hospice services.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing home health and hospice care.
• Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of care.
• Serve as a liaison between the agency and healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations.
• Participate in strategic planning initiatives to enhance the agency's growth and reputation within the healthcare industry.
• Participate in weekly IDT meetings.

**Qualifications:**

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Palliative Care, Hospice and Palliative Medicine).
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Utah.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in home health, hospice, or related field.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
• Commitment to quality improvement, patient-centered care, and ethical practices.
