Regional Agency Director is responsible for all facets of sales performance for insurance agencies within a designated geographic area. Develops policies, objectives, and initiatives for agencies in the region and is responsible for ensuring the region meets its projected goals. Being a Regional Agency Director coordinates operations with those of other regions. Directs agency and district managers in achieving their goals and objectives of securing the optimum volume of high-quality business at proper cost. Additionally, Regional Agency Director is responsible for number of premiums written per region. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Regional Agency Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Regional Agency Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     The Director of People Services is responsible for understanding, developing, and implementing HR strategies to deliver value-added services which reflect the business objectives for the St. Lawrence region of Rochester Regional Health. The Director is also responsible for establishing and developing trusted relationships with RRH Labor Relations, Centers for Excellence, leadership, and legal. The Director will lead the implementation, governance and application of HR processes, systems, policies, and programs, and expected to maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business operational imperatives, culture, and competition. Leads the day-day administration of the both HR Strategy and Employee Relations Partners team members for their assigned area and others as needed, including training, best practices, consultation and guidance to leadership and team members on a variety of issues, such as performance management, corrective counseling, policy interpretation and team member investigations.

    ATTRIBUTES

    • Master’s degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required

    • PHR/SPHR or a similarly recognized certification related to Human Resources

    • Ability to create and visualize executive level transparency of alignment of work to goals

    • Ability to translate strategy into action

    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

    • Effective relationship building skills

    • Demonstration of leadership competencies

    • Knowledge of employment and labor law, and experience with progressive employment best practices

    • Five years of progressive experience in Human Resources, which includes at least two years of HR Business/Strategy Partner, employee relations, labor relations and/or employee investigations experience



    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Human Resources Strategy and Development: Provide strategic direction, coach business leaders, utilize organizational data for decision-making, and implement HR initiatives to optimize business performance and foster employee engagement.

    Employee Engagement and Talent Management: Initiatives focused on enhancing employee engagement, morale, productivity, and retention. Additional duties of assessing talent needs, developing strategies for talent acquisition and development, analyzing trends, and designing training and development programs.

    Employee and Labor Relations Management: Managing employee relations, conducting investigations on sensitive HR issues, proposing remedial actions, collaborating with legal and risk management departments, and fostering a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with employment laws.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

    PAY RANGE: $110,000.00 - $175,000.00
