The Refinery – Budtender Job Description

This position is expected to be involved in: -Team meetings, customer retail assistance, cannabis knowledge testing, & building an industry that has never been built in Michigan. We are here to work hard to pave the way for future generations.

This position consists of: -Checking customers in at the front desk and greeting them with a smile. Answering phone calls to help shoppers with questions about cannabis. Assisting shoppers with the retail shopping experience...pointing them to the right product, making suggestions and helping the team with daily activities.

Rules of this position: -Weapons are not allowed in the back area-Nobody is allowed in the lobby who does not have a valid state ID-You must be over 21 to shop REC/AU-You must be over 18 and have a medical card that matches the same state ID-Every customer must be checked in unless they’re shopping together. You must find cover for posted shifts.

Goals of this Position: We do whatever we can to make sure people are leaving happy. So yes the customer is usually right. We kill customers with kindness. Customers shopping should never wait 10 minutes and pre-orders should never wait 5 minutes. This position is expected to manage your time wisely, keeping busy, and your objective is to never have a manager tell you what to do unless it is a method of adjusting or method of training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
