Assisting to locate Patients and linking individuals to Clinic Services.
- Obtain necessary medical records and documentation for referral appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorization for referrals
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies regarding referral status
- Ensure all HIPAA regulations are followed when handling patient information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all referral activities
- Collaborate with medical office staff to ensure seamless patient care
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and coding (ICD-9)
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and workflows
- Familiarity with dental office operations is a plus
