In general, duties include (but not limited to) promptly answering phones, routing calls to other staff, scheduling appointments, routing faxes, processing referrals, logging referrals within the department Microsoft Excel log, conduct insurance verifications, index various documents including patient records, register patients, and serving as back-up to the front office/receptionist. Must have prior experience with electronic health records in a medical office.
